Seamer Green Project
At present, the Proudfoot Group have put plans forward to resurrect the Seamer Village Green. The village green is located directly next to the Proudfoot Groups Seamer store on the main road running directly through the village.
Plans proposed by the Proudfoot Group would see the Green given a complete face lift, making the Park much more accessible, for Seamer locals and visitors. The vision planned would include a secure play area for the children, complete with sandbox, swings and much more. A large grassed area for activities and an easy access path circumnavigating the entirety of the green. As well as this there would be 11 car parking spots, one of which is for family use and another for disabled, for visitor of the Green and our Seamer store to use.
The Proudfoot Group have put together a 10 year plan for maintenance and general up keep of the Green. All of the proposed development will be paid for by the Proudfoot Group, and will benefit the local community of Seamer village.
Here at the Proudfoot Group we believe that this proposal should be made public so that all the local residence of Seamer and the surrounding areas can take a look at the highly anticipated development plans.
If the plans are approved then the green will be a magnificent place for the local community, especially the children to use and take advantage of.
